CRP Photo Gallery - Amistad International Dam
The upper Rio Grande sub-basin ends at the International Amistad Dam, operated by the IBWC. The dam provides fl ood control, improved water quality, increased water supply, a steady fl ow in the river below the dam, fi shing, recreation, and hydroelectric power on both sides of the border.
